At dinner time E asked me if he is going to get pudding tonight. He gets pudding when his behaviour has been good through other day either at home or at school.
Unfortunately today was a bad behaviour day so when he asked I said no and asked if he knew why?
He said it was “because I spitted and… yeah”. I said ‘yeah and,’ expecting him to say sorry or explain why he thought spitting was ok.
I wasn’t prepared for the next phrase…
“I electric shocked Anna” he said this whilst bobbing up and down as if being shocked.
I had to walk out of the room – that was far too hilarious in a moment where I needed to be stern.
